Family, Business, and Franchise Law
Practicing in Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, Goochland, and throughout Virginia
Mergers & Acquisitions. Contracts. And Leases.
High value marital estates require a family law attorney with solid business law experience.
It's different from general litigation. Requires aggressiveness with attention to the bottomline.
CHILD SUPPORT, CUSTODY, & VISITATION
Time with our kids is limited. They grow up fast. Make sure their best interests are protected.
For an experienced attorney, the Franchise Disclosure Document is not as complex as some firms make it out to be.
An experienced attorney can also help a company grant licenses without the expense of becoming a franchise.
Even if based on lies, a Protective Order can destroy your life. Quality legal representation is imperative.
J. WILLIAMS, Th.M., Esq.
J. Williams, Th.M.
I graduated magna cum laude (top 6%) from the University of Richmond School of Law. I have experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, franchising, commercial transactions, products liability, construction law, and family law. I've worked at large and mid-sized downtown firms.
Before practicing law, I graduated from seminary because I wanted to read the Bible in its original languages---Koine Greek and Ancient Hebrew. I served families for 8 years as a youth pastor in Texas.
I've helped a variety of local RVA businesses grow and expand while protecting their legal interests.
I've been through a divorce with children. I know the struggles. More importantly, I know how to navigate the process and protect your interests, while being mindful of the emotional pain.
